Legrand to attend Fire Safety Event 2024
Legrand will be attending the Fire Safety Event 2024 at the NEC, Birmingham, where industry experts can experience our range of market-leading fire safety solutions. Taking place between 30 April and 2 May, our cable management products will be on show on stand 5/C138 including the EZ-path fire stopping solution and Swifts cable tray to support cable structure in the event of a fire.
Despite the lack of standards or legal obligations, Legrand’s fire safety cable management range is subject to stringent fire testing under the German DIN 4102-12 standard. The team will be on hand to provide support for your next project, discussing:

“What is the fire rating of your cable management products?”
Our cable management team is regularly asked for the fire rating of our systems. The simple answer is that there is no requirement or product standard that manufacturers of cable management systems and supports can test their products to or against. However, we are able to provide declarations of performance stating our Swifts cable tray and ladder and Salamandre trunking have been tested and withstood collapse for 90 minutes.
