Legrand to showcase marketing leading solutions at leading data centre exhibition

Legrand will be exhibiting once again at this year’s Data Centre World exhibition on 12-13th April at Excel, London on stand G40.

Demonstrating its integrated solutions for the data centre market, the Legrand stand will feature products from across its globally-recognised product portfolio including Minkels, Ortronics, Cablofil, Zucchini and Electrak.

Debuting on this year’s stand for the Ortronics range, will be a new range of white patch panels that improve lighting and readability. Visitors to the stand will also be able to see the popular Ortronics Mighty Mo 20 rack system - designed to meet the needs of any size network with excellent efficiencies in both airflow management and network installation. A well designed physical support infrastructure maximises network performance by minimising signal loss caused by improper cable support.

From Minkels, visitors will see the recently updated Free Standing Cold Corridor - which was awarded the Frost and Sullivan’s new product innovation Award in 2015. The product now features FM Global approved Drop Away Panels, LED Tubes and VariControl-L integrated system (data centre security). These extensions are Minkels answer to the worldwide increase in customer demand for security and safety solutions for data centres (Gartner, 2015 CIO Survey / Forrester, Sizing the cloud security market).

Also returning to the show this year, is EZ-Path - the mechanical fire stop device that offers a permanent fire stopping solution. Its simple box-like sleeve fits into a wall or floor aperture enabling cable to be pushed through and sealed. In the event of a fire, heat causes the intumescent material to expand within the metal casing – creating a flame, smoke and air-proof barrier.

Mark Evans Marketing Director at Legrand UK commented: “The data centre market is an incredibly fast-paced industry, one that demands high quality and reliable solutions that not only deliver to requirements but often exceed them. Legrand’s expertise within the data centre environment ensures high performance and reliability remain at the heart of the data centre operation – a necessity within this market.

“We see Data Centre World as the ideal platform to showcase our global expertise and are looking forward to meeting with existing customers, as well as potential new prospects.”
