Legrand presents the Nuvo P30 touch screen controller with intuitive in-wall system operation
Legrand, the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures, has announced the availability of its first Nuvo touch screen - the Nuvo P30.
Housed in a custom enclosure, the Nuvo P30 Android screen is the latest addition to the Player Portfolio range - providing users with the option of either an in-wall touch screen solution or Nuvo’s familiar handheld control via iOS and Android smart phones, and tablet apps. The touch screen (NV-P30-BK) acts as both the access point for system control, but can also run streaming services such as Spotify, TuneIn, Napster, Deezer and SiriusXM as well as provide access to stored music on networked devices through the Player Portfolio system.
The P30 features a high contrast 1024 x 600 IPS capacitive touch screen and a sleek design that blends in easily with any home interior. Installation is also incredibly simple, thanks to its universal mounting plate. Connection to the Player Portfolio system, is made via a single RJ45 802.11af PoE connection.
Richard Hayward, Lead Marketing Manager for Legrand’s Wiring Devices business said: “For a simple yet stylish solution for high fidelity sound in the home, the Nuvo P30 enables users to have the music they love, right at their fingertips. The in-wall control is ideal for allowing immediate and convenient access to pre-set music favourites and volume control, without having to search for a smart device.”
