Accor hotel group switches on Legrand wiring accessories

Hotel group Accor has specified products from two different Legrand wiring accessory ranges for its new ibis and Novotel hotels in the Blackfriars area of London.

Built side-by-side on Blackfriars Road, the 4-star Novotel and 3-star ibis Hotel feature Legrand wiring accessories in all public areas and guest rooms. The dual specification included switches, sockets, data points and shaver sockets, with the Novotel opting for the Synergy Modern Silver range, while the ibis specified the Arteor Pearl Alu range.

Caroline Boden, marketing manager for Legrand’s wiring devices business, said: “Our wiring accessory offering is able to complement any design scheme, and between them, Synergy and Arteor boast the widest choice of product design and style on the market – an appeal that is significantly enhanced by the availability of both monobloc and modular options.

“This level of choice has proved particularly popular in the hotel industry, where different chains and owners are looking to create a strong brand identity and provide a differentiated experience for their guests.”

The Arteor and Synergy ranges were specified directly by Accor, which also recently worked with Legrand when fitting out its new Adagio Aparthotel in Liverpool city centre.

Legrand’s Synergy modern range feature hidden screws and slim, contoured plates, while a stylish optional 3-light LED display gives the range an instantly recognisable signature look that has proved extremely popular with the hotel industry. Other hotels to have recently specified Synergy include The Savoy and The Zetter Townhouse in London, and Sleeperz Hotel in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Meanwhile, Pearl Alu is one of the 17 different plate finishes available for Legrand’s Arteor wiring accessory and building automation range. This unique range combines cutting edge style with state-of-the-art technology and features an incredible array of stand-out styles, including round and square rocker options, and covers everything from switches and sockets through to the most advanced automation systems.

Caroline added: “We are at the cutting edge of the wiring accessories market and have done this by continually developing and redefining our product portfolio. Today our offer is at such a level we can confidently offer hotel clients the choice needed for them to create the style, identity and differentiation needed in today’s highly competitive marketplace.”
